Veterinary Care Assistance

We provide financial assistance specifically for chronic specialty veterinary care and ongoing treatment—helping ease the burden so your pet gets the continuous care they need, and you get the financial support to keep fighting alongside them.
You’re not alone in this marathon.
Training Assistance

Consistent follow-up care is critical to managing chronic illness, and your dog deserves to receive treatment without terror. Our dog training assistance program helps chronically ill dogs learn to stay calm during veterinary visits and medical procedures. Let us help make their necessary care less traumatic for you both.
Caregiver Support

Caring for a chronically ill pet is emotionally draining, isolating, & overwhelming. Our pet caregiver support groups offer a safe, judgment-free space where you can share your fears, your heartbreak, & your hope with other pet parents walking the same painful road. Here, your feelings are valid. And you’ll find the strength to keep going, together.

Why We Exist: Diesel’s Story
Diesel’s Footprint was founded by Kaajal Tiwary in memory of her dog, Diesel, who lived with Addison’s disease and multiple chronic conditions from puppyhood.
Through years of managing his complex medical needs, Kaajal learned firsthand how chronic pet illness affects families: the endless vet visits, the mounting costs, the emotional toll, and the isolation of carrying it alone. When Diesel died suddenly from an anesthetic error, that grief became purpose. We exist to provide the financial assistance, training support, and community that pet parents navigating chronic illness desperately need—because no one should face this journey without help.
Diesel’s FootPrint is proud to support pet parents throughout Santa Clara County, California including: (Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Mountain View, Milpitas, Monte Sereno, Morgan Hill, Palo Alto, San Jose, Santa Clara, Saratoga, Sunnyvale).
